Logic
Christian apologetics involves advancing arguments to support the Christian world-view, and countering arguments against the Christian world-view. An apologist must therefore be adept both at putting arguments together and at taking them apart.
A good way to begin to develop an appreciation of what makes a good argument and what makes a bad one is to study the logical fallacies. These are errors of reasoning that are sufficiently common to have been given a name. Learn what these fallacies are and how to spot them, and you’ll be able to strengthen your own arguments and to offer better responses to those who challenge you.
